Pleasure Tops

Undoubtedly hoping to capture some of the more frugal shoppers coveting the more expensive (and, apparently, much more effective) Cone, this Doc Johnson product leaves a lot to be desired. I do applaud the manufacturer's move toward phthalate-free products with this silicone toy, though.

It's cute and soft and pink, and it certainly sounded as if it would deliver a nice vibration from its two AAA batteries, but the tactile reality didn't live up to its auditory promise.

While I could straddle it without difficulty, I'm very flexible. If you can't do a side split comfortably, don't purchase this toy intending to lower yourself onto it like you're riding a partner. You'll be seriously disappointed. Invest a bit more in a Rock Chick or suction a Woody to one of those big exercise balls if you want to ride. Those toys offer greater flexibility. There's just not a helluva lot of options with this little pink puppy.

However, if you're limber and can get off easily with an average bullet vibe, this might be a good choice for you.

Strobe Probe

Have you ever bought something just because it was on sale? Well, I bought two of these jelly, rabbit-pearl vibes on a close-out sale over a year ago. If I recall correctly, the combined price barely tipped me into the free shipping range on Amazon. So, I guesstimate around $13 each. I could dig through my order history and find out exactly, but... well... who cares? The product's been discontinued, so it's not like anyone's gonna rush to buy one based on my stellar review.

No, the reason I'm posting is more due to the manufacturer (Doc Johnson) than the particular model, because I have buried many a rabbit-pearl by other manufacturers, but this one seems to be more durable. That may or may not carry over to other products by Doc Johnson.

Like I said, I bought two of these puppies. The second one is still in its box, unused & unopened. The first, however, has some serious mileage on it -- and it's still going strong. It's lasted four times as long as any other rabbit-pearl I've ever owned -- and I do believe I've been *ahem* harder on it than its predecessors.

Yeah, the strobe part is kinda funny, but I try not to think about my pussy glowing like my cheeks used to do when, as a kid, I'd stick a flashlight in my mouth.

Here's what Freddy & Eddy had to say about Doc Johnson's iVibe Rabbit:

"Now having experienced four different 'rabbit' style vibrators, I had to admit that trying yet another one didn't exactly give me goose bumps. Yes, one did give me my first vaginal orgasm (the Vibratex Charmer), but aside from that the only distinguishing characteristics seem to be size and color. Hence, when the new iVibe Rabbit vibe arrived on August 1st, I didn't exactly rush to release it from its packaging.

"Once I did, however, all I can say is WOW!!! Not only did this product take me to the 'big O' in several unique ways, but it turned out to be one of the most advanced sex toys we've ever tested. Pearl Butterfly

This attractive multi-function vibrator by California Exotic Novelties offers a butterfly clitoral stimulator rather than the standard bunny rabbit ears. The wings of the butterfly (a full 2.5" tip-to-tip) cup the labia while its body vibrates in between. Some women may like this, but this reviewer thought it muted the intensity of the vibrations by squeezing the labia together.

The area spanned by the rotating pearls in the shaft is considerably larger than other such products, providing broader coverage for internal stimulation -- but it also makes a considerably louder grinding noise. The shaft is 7" long and 5" in circumference -- quite filling, indeed.

Takes 3 AA batteries in the base. (The battery compartment door was rather loose, occasionally slipping open during use.) It has separate sliding controls (also in the base) for the vibration of the butterfly and the rotation of the pearls. As with other products of this style, it is easy to bump the controls during use -- changing the speed without intending to do so, which can be rather distracting.

California Exotic Novelties' products tend to work fairly well -- but not be very durable. Unfortunately, 4 of every 5 toys on the market seem to be from this manufacturer. As this is an older product, we can hope that its newer products are of greater quality.

Prices online are all over the map! From $127.50 all the way down to the low-thirty dollar range. Do NOT pay more than $40 for this product, and (for a few dollars more) you can do a LOT better with other jackrabbit style products. (Check out the Vibratex Rabbit Habit, for starters. It's not quite as girthy, but the quality completely blows the Pearl Butterfly out of the water.)

Water Gems Multi-Function Bunny

The Water Gems Bunny vibrator by California Exotic Novelties is advertised as 100% waterproof and designed to provide both vibration (of the bunny) and rotation (of the shaft). It features a soft jelly shaft of delightful girth filled with (purportedly) non-jamming, rotating pearl beads. The shaft has ridges and a softly beaded head, and the clitoral stimulator has a flickering bunny ears for intense stimulation. The easy-touch, push-button pulse pad controls provide a high/low function, auto-reverse rotating action, and on/off vibration. The removable battery pack requires 4 AA batteries.

Until the "non-jamming" pearls jammed, this reviewer adored her Water Gems Bunny. Even after the shaft no longer rotated, it remained a favorite toy. Then, alas, moisture got inside the "100% waterproof" battery pack and killed it as well as the four rechargable batteries it contained.

This seems to be par for the course for products by California Exotic Novelties. Their motors also tend to overheat after only a few minutes' use (and smell like popcorn burnt in a microwave). More's the pity 'cause they have some of the nicest sized/shaped toys.

Vibratex Rabbit Habit
